Welcome to Mobile Real Estate

There are lots of exciting southern cities where life and culture are bustling, and Mobile is at the top of that list. Located on the gulf in Alabama, Mobile has consistently been noted and voted as one of the best places to live for people of all ages. There are many reasons why this is the case, most them having to do with the wonderful qualities of the city itself. In addition, the real estate possibilities in Mobile are plentiful. Whether you are looking for an extravagant home on the bay or a more modest house in a community with great schools, there is something for everyone in Mobile.

Why Mobile?
People are moving to Mobile in bunches and when they get there, they aren't leaving. It's because the city offers great weather, plenty of fun, and all of the things that families look for in their home location. With excellent schools in the area and a host of affordable land and home options right now, there has never been a better time to move into the area. For those who love golf, there are courses all over the area that will test your skills. Likewise, there are lots of dining and nightlife options for people who want to keep busy. The city itself is a wonderful choice because it allows individuals the type of experience they are looking for, while simultaneously providing a wonderful place to raise a family.

Homes for sale in Mobile
One of the cool things about this area is that there are choices for almost all different tastes. Some people want to live by the water, while others want to live in a more rural setting. There are homes for sale all over Mobile and in the surrounding counties. It depends upon your needs as a potential home buyer as to which of these choices you take a look at.

Near the water, you will find houses that range in price from the low 200s all the way up to million dollar homes. You could live on a small plot of land or you could choose something as big as 25 acres. It really depends upon how much space you are looking for and how much you are willing to spend.

Mobile County and Baldwin County are the two primary options in the Mobile area, and each of them has a special set of offerings. Interstate 10 connects the two and runs right through the middle of Mobile Bay and downtown area. For that reason, those working in Mobile have the freedom to choose homes in a multitude of different areas. This sort of flexibility adds to the home market in the city.

Mobile Real Estate Resources
We are always looking out for our visitors and one way is to provide helpful resources. Whether its a simple interactive local weather map to a handy dandy roofing calculator, we will help you any way we can.
One of the most popular ways to move into the Mobile area is to build your own home. The opportunities for home builders are plentiful, since there is a ton of unused land in the Mobile area. Purchasing acres of land on the outside of Mobile is a trendy choice, as is building a home on the water. Some of these options are more expensive than others, with water front property coming at a premium in the Mobile area.

Commercial real estate offerings in Mobile
There are lots of different commercial properties for sale in Mobile, and they range in price depending upon location. Many of the prime commercial spots are on the water, and others take advantage of the vast amounts of property in the city's casino district. One of the cool things about the commercial scene in Mobile is that it is powered by tourism to a huge degree. The influx of travelers makes it easy for businesses to do well, and the value of property in the Mobile area reflects this idea.

Still, there are some values to be had, especially in the current economy. Mobile is growing as a center of industry, and commercial lots are waiting to be developed. Many companies are purchasing land in hopes of building their business, while others are taking advantage of the for sale business properties near Mobile's water front area.

Mobile Schools
One of the strengths of this area is its strong educational reputation. While there are many places in Alabama where the public schools wouldn't be a selling point, the schools in Mobile are ranked very highly in terms of national appeal. An important consideration here is that Mobile has a good mix of both public schools and private schools, so those moving into the area have some choices for the education of their children. As one of the state's largest cities and its most bustling economic center, the school districts benefit from solid government funding.

The Alabama School of Math and Science is also there, and it serves as an option for those students who are highly interested in those fields going forward. With more than 400,000 people living in the city, there are a host of different schools to take care of the students.

City Life in Mobile
Mobile has long been seen as the cultural and social capital of Alabama, and that's for good reason. Though the city might seem to be a little bit "touristy", it does offer a quaint setting for residents, as well. The beaches are popular, as is the nightlife. City life in Mobile includes lots of life music, as well as excellent food. Some have described the area as being a slightly more reserved, smaller version of New Orleans.

The area is perfect for those people who like to stay active, since water sports and outdoor activities are popular among residents. The area also has its own minor league baseball team, as well as a stadium where various postseason football games are played. The already mentioned golf courses are an excellent draw. As one might guess, there is never a shortage of things to do in Mobile to keep yourself busy. That is true whether you are just moving into the area or you have lived there for your entire life.e
